Well, this trip has been a blast.
In roughly 30 minutes my flight to Kansas City will board here at Portland International Airport. Not especially looking forward to going back, but what can you do. I’ll make the best of it.
Thanks to everyone who made this vacation so great. You know who you are and what you’ve done. Pat yourselves on the back and kiss yourselves in the mirror. Even give yourselves a wraparound hug.
God bless, I’ll post some final photos when I make it back home. Please pray for safe travels as it doesn’t end in KC — I still have to fly from there to St. Louis, then drive three hours west into Republic.

Why did you have to fly into MCI and then to STL? That seems odd.
Portland doesn’t offer a direct flight to STL via Southwest Airlines. Since I flew out of STL to get to PDX and I had a layover in Vegas, I guess MCI was the offset.
Not too bad though, I only spent 3 hours and 36 minutes in the air. I would like to stay on solid ground for awhile now.
