If you read my blog on a consistent basis you’d know that we are going through another quarter in which we have all been asked to take a week’s worth of time off. We did it last quarter (see the posts pertaining to my Northwest trip in early March) and I’m scheduled to take my next week off the last week of June.
I planned this in the hopes that the entire family would be able to join me for a week and we’d be able to hit up Yellowstone National Park for the first time in 11 years. We visited the place in 1993 and 1998.
Good things can come from mandatory time off. The cool thing is that I get to still take two weeks of paid vacation later in the year.
Another thing I’m doing is growing my hair out, and I really mean it this time. I hope to grow it out for at least another month or so, and my lofty goal is to grow it until my furlough week, when I pretty much will shave nearly all of it off because we will be in summer’s grasp.
If you thought I was ugly before, think about me now. There’s a reason I haven’t posted photos of myself recently.

I don’t think dad can make it, but I sure would love to go!!!!
