I’m here in Jeff City to cover Jay Nixon’s inauguration, which will take place tomorrow in the (cold) morning.
The drive up here from Springfield took a lot less time than I thought it did, and it’s a neat little city up here. The Missouri State Capitol is a really neat building with some cool architecture.
Anyhoo, we got to see the end of the Chargers-Steelers game. The wrong team won, but I’m happy about the Eagles beating the Giants so Arizona can host the game. I’m happy with whomever wins that one. In the AFC I’m all for Baltimore.
Oh and thanks to the five of us that showed up for some rip-roaring football action today. 3-on-2 is definitely an experience. We all now know that I play defense like the Denver Broncos.

Hey, just one question. What are the pictures and and plaques on the wall behind you on your picture bar at the top of the screen? Is one of them your shadow box?
They’re all for the N-L Graphics Department. Some of the mind-blowing, detailed graphics they’ve built over the years for the paper.
My shadow box is MIA as of November 2006. I still don’t have it. If anyone knows where it is, please help.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Where was it last seen? Dude, I know you weren’t crazy about the service, but that means a LOT! Everyone who has served should have one.

Chris, you’d better be careful, or people will start thinking you can be in four places at once, and start expecting that of you.
