Wichita Lineman Is A Song I Once Heard

Total travel time from Springfield: 4 hrs, 42 minutes. This includes a 15-minute delay at a construction site on US-400 west. Not bad. Still got 1/4 tank of gas left too!

I am in the Marriott Courtyard in Old Town Wichita, and let me tell you, this facility — and the area of town — is nice. I will try to get some shots from the top of the parking garage.

I’ll blog more later, but for now I gotta get ready to head to the DVD critique portion of tonight’s seminar. I’ll try to shoot some photos from there as well!

  • Don’t party too hard, bro!

  • Hey kiddo, how’s your car doing? I still think at times that I should have kept it and found you another one! As far as the song, are you talking about the one that Glen Campbell sang? “I am a lineman for the county”? I hope you’re not going country on me after I have raised you on the best music of all, christian rock! Hope you enjoy your time in Witchita. Love ya!

  • Jason–

All the bars are right outside my hotel. UGH

    Dad–

Car’s great. Just pumped up the right front tire today, I get them rotated next Monday and I need to get an oil change soon too.

And yes, I am referencing Glen! Before you know it I’ll burn you a Johnny Cash CD.

  • Johnny Cash is a legend, and sarcasm is not welcome! lol.

Country is good, but some singers just plain suck….
