Rainier Girls B-Ball Headed To State Title Game
Rainier High School (my alma mater) beat Vale 40-26 tonight in Salem to earn their first-ever trip to the state championship game in girls basketball, and the first in any team sport in quite some time. I don’t think any Rainier team has been this close to a championship since the cross country teams of the early-to-mid 1990’s.
Congrats to the girls basketball team, and Go Columbians in the state title game. Make my hometown of 1,700 proud!
