…Oregon once again is getting socked with it pretty good. Everywhere but Portland it seems, got a fair amount today. Some places got up to four inches. My old town, Rainier, got about three from what I heard.
I hereby formally apologize to everyone whom I have affected by my unintentional creation of a weather vortex. The early January tornadoes that hit us here in Missouri spawned a child in Vancouver, WA the day afterward — and now I have brought my horrible fortunes with snow down here. I love snow but for some reason I never get to see much of it.
That having been said, today was a great day here in Missouri, or for me, specifically.
Dad has been in town all weekend and we went to church this morning. Omar and Misty joined us and it was good to see them again. Tonight I checked out one of JRA’s college life groups up in Strafford and it was wonderful to meet a bunch of folks. Most of them, if not all, go to Evangel University.
It was also exceptionally warm for this time of year today. Stepped outside tonight and the wind didn’t make me wish I was dead.
Oh, and look on my blog tomorrow, I will be formally endorsing a presidential candidate, much in the same vein as Jason and Larry.
