The Beauty Of Seasons Changing
While walking to my car this morning, I noticed how absolutely beautiful it is outside. Beautiful blue sky, temperatures in the mid-70s with the air getting a little bit crisper…fall is definitely on its way.
For some reason, I am excited about fall and winter this year. I think it’s a combination of thought processes — I’m moving back to Oregon where it is so beautiful this time of year (I am a sucker for nature, can’t you tell?), I went to Iraq last year and didn’t really get to experience my two favorite seasons, and I know Thanksgiving and Christmas (my two favorite holidays) are on the way.
Don’t know why I posted this, but I just felt like I wanted to share how wonderful it looks outside.
Nothing too terribly important taking place, which is good news. On a larger scale, pray for victims and families in the Pennsylvania school shooting today. God bless.

OH MY GOODNESS! NO DOUBT! It is soooo pretty out here! I was walking to class this morning and caught myself kicking up leaves. They are so colorful and crunchy! I love this time of year before they get all soggy from the rain. It is sunny, and crisp and just gorgeous out! Yay to autumn!

Well so far there isn’t much here in the way of color, and the weather turned up the heat, 92 today. Tomorrow it’s suppose to get even warmer. However it’s my favorite time of the year, and I am still holding out hope for some beautiful hues to appear. Hope springs eternal!
I’m looking forward to Christmas this year too bud, all my guys will be with me again!
