This week has flown by and I noticed my only update was for Monday night, when I went to go see Talladega Nights. Tuesday, Wednesday and today have all flown by and I have been extraordinarily busy each day.
Tuesday and Wendesday, my friend Brad from work joined me on a shoot that took the better part of both days to complete. It was a fun one — documenting airmen from around the base training to deploy to Iraq and Afghanistan. The class taught survival and other combat skills that would be useful to airmen serving downrange. Overall we shot about four hours worth of footage, not to mention lugging a tripod and Sony XDCAM with us wherever we went. It was hot but fun.
My evenings have been occupied as well. Tuesday night I got together with some friends to visit, and last night was a great church service. I will expound more on that soon.
I guess the point of this post is to show the world that I’m alive, and I’ll bring you more tomorrow. Aftan’s at work and I’m going to bed. cheers.
