Finally, A Personal Update!
Sorry I haven’t had a personal update in awhile, but in case you missed it, I was on vacation…and the last few days of work have left me in somewhat of a haze as I try to readjust to a normal sleep schedule.
Speaking of work, I may be moving away in three months instead of four. How is this possible, you may ask? Right now as it stands, November 26 (my date of separation from the Air Force) is 122 days away. Subtract 10 days of terminal leave I will have saved, PLUS a newly discovered possible 20 days of house hunting leave, and I could be out of here on October 26. Make no mistake, I’ll miss my friends, but I have to get out of here, go back home, be with Aftan, and start my life.
Things in my life are going quite well. Life sucked for two days after I got back from Oregon, and it was particularly tough hearing about how Aftan was stuggling to deal with the fact I am back here, but sadness has subsided and we are now excited about the future that awaits us. What it holds, we don’t know. We’re just really happy that we are together, and we’re praying for direction and God’s will in our lives, individually and together.
In other news, Lance Bass admitted he’s gay. Now it’s only a matter of time before the rest of N’Sync comes out of the closet.
