I’m Officially Back!

Hey everyone, sorry for going so long in between legit updates. I’ve been gone WAY too long…I know, it’s only been about three days, but for me it’s more like a week because of all the travel and limited time I had to update. But now I’m sitting here at home on my brand spanking new iMac 20″ Intel Core Duo and this thing rocks. Web pages, the desktop…everything looks and runs better under this thing than it ever did on my Windows computer. And I won’t even begin to describe how beautiful the HD movie trailers on Apple.com look.

So I’ve got a ton of stuff to do with the site. I’ve got to update the blog header to where it reads “May 2006,” because right now it looks like I enjoy living in the past. Also expect some minor updates to make this site more compatible with Internet Explorer. I hate IE but I know some of you out there actually use it so I want you guys to be able to fully enjoy the site.

Over the last few days, I’ve done a lot of what they call “reintegrating” — basically taking care of business stuff here at Langley to make sure they know I’m back. On top of that, I’ve taken care of a few things in town and visited some folks. You might call me crazy, but I was overjoyed that I was sitting in traffic on I-64 in Newport News yesterday. I was so excited just because I get to drive — even if I am making a life decision each time I get gas.

It’s awesome to be back here in the States. Even just seeing grass, trees and hills makes me feel a tremendous sense of appreciation for the country I call home. It’s so neat to drive down Jefferson Ave. in Newport News and see buildings and businesses thriving, with people busily walking to and fro along the city sidewalks. It’s amazing to be here for good, and thank the Lord for his protection over the six months I was gone.

For now, that’s it…you all be good and I’ll write more later!

No Internet Makes The World Boring.

No internet at my dorm so far, thanks to some terrible service from Cox Communications. They came back and activated everything, so I have TV but no internet yet. Time to get the run-around from some crappy service reps again.

Stay tuned, folks.
