The above photo is of Josh Brown, the hero kicker for the Seattle Seahawks and also a good dude from the Kirkland Family Church (a COGOP-affiliated church in Kirkland, WA). Way to go Josh, kicking the winning field goal in overtime yesterday to beat the New York Giants 24-21. This after Jay Feely pretty much kicked the game away, missing three field goals. Man that guy has to feel horrible.
Exciting game, really. Hasselbeck got me double digits in fantasy points and Josh scored three for my team as well with that OT field goal. Good stuff guys, keep up the good work. I guess since my fantasy team is going down the toilet I really don’t mind how the players do statistically, as long as the Hawks keep winning.
Speaking of the Seahawks winning, they are now 9-2 for the first time since 1984. I was crying my eyes out as a newborn baby in 1984, and consider now I am 21 and still crying my eyes out (for joy though) at every Seahawk victory, at every Shaun Alexander touchdown, at every Josh Brown field goal.
Jesus loves the Seahawks and everyone else should too. Amen.
