Hey everyone, today is Friday, November 11, of course.
Today was cool. Among the highlights:
- Got to shoot video for a gentleman who appeared on a morning show in his hometown. It was pretty cool.
- I got to go see something else that was special later on. More on that at a later date.
- Melissa called me at the office tonight. We talked for an hour. It was so refreshing to actually be able to connect with someone on the phone and just chat about how things are going here and back at home.
- About being able to talk on the phone, who would have ever thought how much we take that thing for granted? I used to call Melissa, my parents, and other folks on an almost daily or bi-daily basis. Now I’m fortunate to get through to someone once a week. BE THANKFUL EVERY TIME YOU PICK UP YOUR PHONE AND TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, PEOPLE.
That’s about it for now. The hour waxes late and I need to get out of here. I’ve been talking on the phone too long…..
