Flashback: May 20, 2004 - My Best Radio Spot
Here’s a flashback to the days of yore when I was a radio show host overseas at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal.
A couple of friends and I put our heads together and came up with this promo for my morning show. Needless to say, we took an opinion poll shortly afterward and listenership had improved 150%. Which wasn’t saying much…there was an active duty population of only 900 on the base, so factor that in with their family members and the signal going out to the local communities, and you have maybe 20,000 people that could be listening at any given moment.
This one’s mainly for my friend Aftan so she can save it to her computer, but everyone else, feel free to download it as well. It’s copyrighted by me and I offer it up to you. Right-click the link below, and click “Save Target As” in Internet Explorer or “Save Link As” in Firefox.
If you like it, say something.
