Complete Madness
Hurricane Rita is worse than Katrina. This storm would be like a tornado spread over hundreds and hundreds of miles of land. Look at computer models of the hurricane and it’s absolutely apocalyptic.
If the storm stays at this intensity, Galveston will be no longer. A large part of Houston will be wiped off the map. All this while New Orleans and the Gulf Coast is not even part way through recovering from Hurricane Katrina.
God, please help the people of Houston in Jesus’ name. I say that with all the fervency I can muster.
That being said, I went to church and went out to eat with some friends tonight. Not much more to update.
Obviously, the main focus: pray for those about to get walloped by this storm. Pray, and pray hard.
