Tomorrow I have to go back to work. Already. Not saying it sucks or anything, but I just wish my weekends could be a little longer. Here’s a brief synopsis of all that went on:

Saturday
I slept in until 2:00 PM, and deservedly so. Any extra sleep I can get on the weekends is an added bonus. Then I sat around for a couple hours and headed out to our youth group’s barbecue for the high school graduates. Matt Nuttall represented.

After that, headed down to the Hooters in Williamsburg to visit my friend Melissa at work. Yeah, that’s right, Hooters. Hung out with Chris and Adam from church and we all had fun.

And after that, I got really tired really quick and went home and went to bed.

Sunday
Woke up at 10:10. NOOOOOO!!!!! I was late for church by 10 minutes, and that’s good considering me taking a shower, ironing my shirt, and washing a pair of socks to wear.

Went to church. Church was cool, people danced everywhere, and there were a few Holy Ghost Jigs to be watched and enjoyed. Pastor Rick preached a good message about how the church needs unity and we are moving in a new direction.

After church, went to Fazoli’s, then the mall with some of the guys. My car got sick and I had to take everyone home still. Yuck. Now here I am hours later, forgetting what else I’ve done all day. Oh yeah, I didn’t get home until 8.

Time to read Frank Peretti’s book The Visitation. Peace.
